While the original conception and idea behind blogging is to make the practice a passion and a leisure activity, what is being seen within the mindset of most bloggers today is a mentality that has far departed from what it is supposed to be. People now engage themselves in blogging just because of the money. Blogging in the present day world is now seen purely as a business and no longer as a hobby, passion or leisure time activity. It is not that the idea of making money online and nourishing your pockets and bank accounts through blogging is a bad idea. Rather, what I am trying to emphasize on and point out here is that if your main motive of venturing into the blogging field is to make money or get other forms of financial gains and benefits through it, there is a very high probability that you are bound to fail as a blogger. Actually, a lot of high profile blogs are monetized but that does not mean that the owners of such blogs are driven by the money. Instead, what makes them to keep on keeping on is their deep passion for what they write about. That is a real blogger for you !
He takes whatever comes his or her way as a form of good luck for his or her efforts and does not expect them to come to him or her just as wages or salaries do. Blogging is a leisure activity and never a profession. Please mark my words today and write it down ! A very high percentage of people who have decided in the past to take blogging as their vocation failed flat to the floor woefully. This is the reason. They came because of the money and their mind remains focused on the motive. Hence, they are only interested in filling up their blogs with unrelated, tattered and irrelevant contents just to keep on going on.
They will never attract readers because they do not have their interest in mind. Even when they go on to get approved by the high-profile online advertising companies including Google adsense, Yahoo Publisher network (through www.media.net), Chitika, Infolinks, Kontera, Addynamo and other contextual and link-based ad networks, nobody or just few will be there to click on the ads to generate revenue for them. This leads to tortoise-moving low earnings, eventual frustration of the blogger and a final quit from the blogging arena. The ad networks in question can even ban such accounts as a result of the poor traffic and low quality contents as well. The blogger can choose other monetization options like the direct selling of products (either physical or digital), services or advertisement spaces on his blog. But who will patronize him since he has not built his reader loyalty and confidence yet? As a result of this, the ambitious blogger will finally quit.
Here is the fact ! Just continue blogging, the money will surely start coming in bundles when you least expect it. Materialistic bloggers always fail but the passionate ones will always succeed and break through. It may only take a little time and you will be made a fulfiled blogger.
