A landmark was achieved by Whatsapp in April, 2014 when results had it that the total active users of the application per month in just India. Has summed up to over 50 million counts. As of this moment, India remains the country with the highest usage rate of the whatsApp application all over the world.
It was a lifetime event never to forget on the 19th day of February, 2014, when Facebook Inc. officially acquired and took over WhatsApp Inc. for a grand fee worth 19 billion US Dollars consisting of a cash sum of $4 billion, Facebook shares worth $12 billion and a four-year restricted stock units given to the founders and employees of WhatsApp worth $3 billion.
From these trends so far, it can be easily concluded that WhatsApp has really come to stay and bring about rapid enhancements and amazing features into the mobile messaging operations and activities of users all over the world.
